HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I hope that everyone had a great holiday week! I know that with my puppies all gone, the busy holiday season helped me get through the empty nest syndrome. I am patiently (hint-hint) waiting for updates and new pictures of this past litter.

B'Nellie is back to her old silly self and I have been getting her out running with me a few times to help her (and me) get back into shape. She was a little lost the first week or so without her babies to check on.

I have started the official waiting list for next fall and if you have already contacted me, you will be hearing from me in the next few days. I want to make sure I contact people in the order in which they called me.

In the meantime, I do have a few pictures of our dogs as well as a few from our past litters to tide us over .....

This is Ozzie, from Hailey's 3rd litter .... patiently waiting for "mom" to come home...

This is Emmitt from Hailey's 2nd litter, a professional photo no less..... isnt' he handsome!?

Here is little Maverick (Belvedere) from B'Nellie's last litter with his big brother Kugel from B'Nellie's first litter. He is showing him around the family boat...

This is Flint (Jager) just a few days after they got him, enjoying his first snowfall...

We received this awesome plaque from Father Shamus (Big Boy Roy) showing his NAVHDA scores ....

A good day for a nap.... Huntley, Hailey and Brinkley on the cat bed....

Play time with the grandkids!

The dogs loved all the attention Christmas day. Hailey is busy giving kisses, while B'Nellie finds a warm body to sit on....

More to follow as I receive them.

Outdoor fun and kid fun.....

Oh what fun we had yesterday with running around outside, playing in the straw and exploring the big dog kennels. Then last night a couple of kids came over to play with us too. It was great fun!!

It is hard to believe that the first few get picked up tomorrow and they will all be gone by Saturday night. Very bittersweet indeed .....

Shiraz looks like she is in trouble.....

Sangria in the dog house....

Riesling in the dog house....

Double Trouble: Merlot and Belvedere....

Bourbon....

Jager and Bacardi bug their dad Huntley....

While the pups play, mom and dad play tug 'o war with the toy....

Bacardi and the kids....

Young and old want to play with Zozz....

Jager and Zozz....

Here is a video of them playing in the water the other day too....

Weekend update

Friday afternoon we went to the vet which is about a 20 minute drive from the house. They all were great riders, some crying and singing, but very minimal compared to previous litters!! I did have them outside beforehand to try and tire them out some, so that probably helped.

Our vet was very impressed with the group and found them to be all sound and healthy, with nice teeth and the boy parts right where they should be.

We played outside a lot over the weekend, usually in groups of 5 so it is more manageable and they have a so much fun. Now when anyone tries to go into their kennel area they are very quick to try and escape. I didn't get a chance to take very many pictures, so here is what I do have.....

Our daughter Katie takes time to snuggle with Moscato....

Hailey thinks about playing with Riesling...

Bourbon dashing around.....

It looks like mom is hugging Riesling, but I think she was just trying to get the toy....

Snuggle time is getting less and less .... so I am taking advantage of a few minutes with Belvedere...
