B'Nellie's OFA Certification

Good news! I am so excited to have finally received B'Nellie's OFA hip certification and she was rated EXCELLENT!! These excellent ratings are not very common, so this is great. Huntley (our sire) also has an excellent hip rating. Now, we are just waiting for her heat cycle to begin sometime in the next couple of weeks hopefully.

I also received an update on Dash a couple of weeks ago. His owner is so in love with him. I think his eyes just have him totally mesmerized.

Otie is doing very well. Potty training is still work in progress and those baby teeth are still very sharp other then that.... He gets along with other humans and dogs very well. We regularly visit area dog parks and he has so much fun. He also attracts attention. People love his coat color, want to know what breed he is and of course find that face irresistible.

I can not wait for puppy time again. I am suffering from a bad case of puppy withdrawal. It seems that every 2 years we get a new puppy and this is now the 2 year itch that I am trying to get through.

Hank / Finnegan Update

It is so great to open up my e-mail in the morning to find an update on one of the puppies. Here is the latest about our little Hank:

Finnegan is only waking us up once a night so we are a little less sleep deprived than the last time I emailed you. He is also responding to the basic training we have been doing- he will sit when asked and knows to sit by the sliding glass to be let out to go potty...although the other day he decided to launch out the door not knowing the screen door was closed!
It's a little bent but still usable. He is walking/responding well off the leash- he either wants to walk with us or be with Ziggy. Sometimes his nose distracts him, but not for long when he realizes he has fallen behind! We start puppy kindergarden tomorrow night.

Wilson/Ozzie update

This is a great way to start the day .....

... Ozzie/Wilson is thriving. He goes for play dates with his older sister and the other Big Dogs at Rebekah and Sam's house. He loves walks on a long leash. And he has discovered a craving for ice cubes ...

He has got to be the best pup ever!

The dog on the right is from last year's litter. Ozzie's "big sister".
