One more week . . . .

The anticipation builds as we prepare for the final week of pregnancy. We brought Hailey's whelping box into our bedroom this past Saturday so she can get used to being in it. She would still rather hop into bed with us - but her "hopping up" is getting a little more difficult.


This is the whelping box that my Jeff built for me. He surprised me by having the kennel name routered into the wood.


Hailey gets in it for the first time. She's a little tentative about it but lays right down.


My daughter gets into the box with her and she is quickly lulled to sleep with a little belly rub.


Having her belly rubbed is a favorite thing to do these days.



Huntley is sound asleep after a full day out in the woods.
