The big day is drawing near ....

And Hailey is getting a bit uncomfortable these days and a bit ornery with the other dogs too. But who can blame her? Here she is last night sprawled out on the floor:

This will be a busy week as we get everything ready for the arrival of the puppies. My bet is that they will be here Sunday, April 5th. It won't be long now!!

It's Official!

We WILL be having a litter of puppies the first full week in April. My estimate is about April 5th or 6th, just before Easter weekend. They will be my little Easter puppies. You can see that Hailey is getting a little wider.

Rosie Update (now known as Flo)

Rosie has a great home and family down in Missouri. She is a constant companion of her new "dad" and they are having a great time together .... especially learning to hunt.

Flo is such a character -- I honestly don't know what we did before we got her!!

On a side note, Hailey continues to do well. She is such a momma's girl when she is pregnant. She will hardly let me out of her site when I am home. Saturday is our vet visit.
