More puppy pics and an Update!

My they are growing fast. They are gaining an average of 2 ounces a day and their little tummies are quite round. Last night I did the first round of nail clippings with Hailey's supervision. Tonight will be our first of 5-6 nights of kitchen floor stressing. Our neighbor's daughter is going to be my assitant with this litter and she is very excited to come over and help tonight ... she is 7 years old.

Light Pink and Dark Green....

Red, Brown and Light Green....

Light Blue and Dark Pink...

Black and Yellow....

All spread out in little groups....

This is a recent update I recieved about B'Nellie's puppy that we had named Roy, and soon was known as Big Boy Roy. He sure was a chubby one! He is now Father Shamus and is quite a handsome boy ....

Here are a couple of pictures of our boy at six months. My, has he grown.

24 inches at the shoulder
57 pounds of all puppy.

He’s out “huntn em up” with me on a two mile hike at Ransom Lake. He did three water retrieves and sniff’d up a wood pecker and did a short point on a duck.

Truly a “good boy”

I hope you enjoy ... I know that I sure do!!

WE HAVE PUPPIES!!!

Introducing Hailey's last litter .... 4 boys and 5 girls! She started having them Easter evening, right around dinner time and the last one came at 3:20 a.m. So yes, it was a long night, but they are all healthy and mom is very attentive to them.

Since they mostly were born Easter evening, they will have fun Easter names once I get them all picked out. In the mean time, the boys have the Red, Dark Green, Brown and Black ribbons.

This morning....

Newly born, hugging each other....

Hailey settles in to feed them all....

I love you mom.....

All nine cleaned up and a few hours old.....

The first feeding...

Day2 moving around more....

And lastly, the proud momma this morning feeding her gang...

One more week ......

Hailey is getting pretty big and slowing down. She likes to stay close to us and I almost feel bad leaving a room, because I know she is going to want to get up to follow me. Sunday morning I could feel the puppies moving around which was very cool.

Just look at that belly!

Here's a cute photo of B'Nellie, Brinkley and our cat Cushman this morning. Brinkley should be tired as he just ran 5 miles with me - the other two are just lazy.

Have a great day!

6 months old

I received an update on Henry (Chumlee) as he turns 6 months old in a few days...

Attached are a few photos of Henry at 6 months. He is up to 47 pounds and has lost all of his puppy teeth. He graduated puppy obedience school a few weeks ago and was the star of the class. Henry is very friendly with everyone he meets including other dogs in the neighborhood and at the dog park. He loves to run around outside exploring and playing fetch. Also, he is a champion hunter of socks in the house and loves to be chased around when he gets a hold of them.

I couldn't help but laugh because B'Nellie loves to steal socks too, and has passed this down to her pups I guess.

Isn't he adorable!!??

Less that 2 weeks and there will be new puppy news!!!!

More birthday photos!

Here is Vinnie! He is now McCoy, which is an adorable name and seems to fit him ....

He's growing quick and is already up to 40 pounds! He is also losing his teeth left and right (as evidenced by the little teeth we are finding all over our house). McCoy graduated beginner puppy school a few weeks ago (picture attached in his graduation cap) and is now in intermediate class. He is good at sit, lay down, stay, leave it, shake, and high five. Now that it is getting warmer out, McCoy loves spending time running around outside and playing fetch with his tennis ball.

He is a bundle of fun and entertainment. He sure loves to cuddle and just be wherever we are. He has been a great addition to our family.

In other news.... Hailey is really starting to show her pregnancy with her belly getting wider. I expect to have puppies around April 26-28. She eats her vitamins daily and has a good appetite.

I hope you enjoy the updates as much as I do!!
