On June 4, 2013 we said goodbye to our handsome Huntley. He was faithful, funny, smart, a great hunter and most of all, our buddy. He was the first Griffon we ever owned and we had never even seen one until he got off the plane in January of 2001. Our hearts still ache for his loss, but his legacy lives on in all the puppies he sired and he will live on forever in our hearts.
Also, we bred B'Nellie in late May and just found out that it did not take. After much thought we have decided to retire her from breeding and let her live out her days as my sidekick. She was a great mom of two litters and we are saddened that she won't have more, but know that it is the right thing to do.
It will now be a while before we have puppies again. Probably not until late in 2014. In the meantime we have Mizz Rizzo training for her NAVHDA natural ability test in August and we are awaiting the news that our new little boy has entered the world. He will be Huntley and Hailey's grandson and we'll have that awesome bloodline back in our program.
I'll post updates of him when he arrives of course.
